An Update on my Thesis

Reception Radio (literally)

Hello Reception Collection readers!

You may have noticed a bout of radio silence from me over the past month or so. Like many other grad students at the time of year, I’ve been busy with TA marking, course readings, and other things of that nature.

I’m nearly finished the first year of my MA program; it feels like I started it yesterday, and now I’m halfway done with a prospectus under my belt. Inconceivable!

Last week, I took time to talk about my thesis research on my university’s student radio station. They tape all their programming for posterity and share it online, so I wanted to pass it on to you. Special thanks to Craig and Jesse at CSJF Radio for asking some very thoughtful questions, and giving me the chance to share my research!
